Description:

This two day session has been tailored for Physicians and senior healthcare executives who are involved in creating strategic action plans for physician success. Based on the largest and longest-running study of best practice physician benchmarks, participants learn the critical strategies that facilitate excellence. In today’s rapidly changing healthcare environment it is critical to explore concepts and practices for developing a productive, patient-focused organization.

Objectives:

Upon completion of this session, the physician and executive should be able to:

  1. Create a strategic framework and action plan for reengineering a care model that will exceed physician, patient and staff expectations.
  2. Identify challenges and obstacles that confront physicians as they create a positive physician culture.
  3. Discuss a proven process to effect successful change in a physician organization.
  4. Explore Best Practices for use as strategies in developing Centers of Excellence.
Target Audience:

This course is specifically for CEO’s, CFO’s, CMO’s, Senior Vice Presidents of physician strategy, and board members. Key physician leaders in primary and specialty care groups will also benefit from course content. In addition physicians with any leadership role for a system, hospital, academic medical centers, physician-hospital organizations and managed services organizations will gain valuable information.

Teaching Methods:

The teaching methods for this module include didactic presentations enhanced with enhanced audio visual presentations, audience discussion and questions and answers. An interactive workbook is used to facilitate the process.

Continuing Medical Education Credit Accreditation:

Credit Designation:
